Proxy Revolution–bblocked 6.0

Firstly, thank you to everyone who has contributed to bblocked via user base, code contribution, and use in other open source technologies (thanks for the exposure eyeOS). It has been very exciting to see my simple one page script turn into a very nice, light-weight, open source web proxy.

Now, the 5.6 branch has been around for awhile (without much change). Currently I have started some minor work towards a completely new code regeneration script to allow for more flexibility and support of more sites. However, it has been a while since I have shown much interest in developing this project and I am curious if anyone really wants to see a complete recoding of bblocked and if so what features users would like to see in the new release.

If you are interested in the new bblocked version, let us know on the forums. Please submit feature requests to we can craft bblocked to cater to your every need as a web-based proxy. Also, if development is continued then in the coming months we will need some alpha testers to ensure the new code performs well on all platforms.

Thanks again, and I hope to see lots of posts supporting further development on bblocked.
