Today–or rather last nigh–marks a great millstone for the bblocked Project. This momentous occasion is something we never sawt after, or aspired to. Today we are very proud to announce that bblocked has been downloaded 3000+ times over its two year journey on SourceForge.

Now this grand total of over 3000 downloads isn’t entirely accurate. In addition to our SF account, bblocked has been available for download in many other places. First appearing on a site that demonstrated bblocked and allowed users to view the source. You can see a sample of that site here). Then along with our newly created SF account, many other mirrors picked up bblocked. We have also had the bblocked Source Center open for some time allowing the public to download the latest and greatest versions of bblocked.

So even though we probably have closer to 3500 or even 4000, we will celebrate this as our official 3000th download and be very happy with it. Thank you all for your unwavering support and love for everything bblocked stands for. We are extremely proud to stand next to you in the fight for a free and anonymous internet.
